These markets track how many touchdowns each team scores through receptions in a college football matchup. The outcomes depend on whether specific players achieve thresholds for receiving touchdowns during the game, including any overtime periods.
All markets resolve based on the official number of receiving touchdowns scored by each team in the Texas A&M vs LSU college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026, including any overtime periods. A receiving touchdown is counted only when the player who catches the pass scores; if another player recovers a fumble and scores, it does not count as a receiving touchdown, unless the original receiver recovers their own fumble and scores. Successful two-point conversions, regardless of when they occur, do not count toward any market outcome. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, markets resolve to a fair price. Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. Generally, if prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook lines, it suggests a difference in perceived probabilities. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information—and opinions—faster than sportsbooks, especially as new information becomes available leading up to the game.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the likelihood of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust to reflect the changing consensus. The market depth—the number of buy and sell orders at different price points—indicates the level of agreement among traders.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether each team successfully receives a touchdown during the game. Official game statistics and play-by-play data will be used to determine if a touchdown was scored. The final result will be based on the official game records, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game is played. News regarding key player injuries for either Texas A&M or LSU would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is predicted, could also shift the odds. Additionally, any late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions might cause traders to reassess their probabilities. Public sentiment, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also play a role in driving price movements in this market.
