Team Liquid and Team Heretics compete in the second map of their VCT EMEA 2026 Valorant match scheduled for July 18, 2026. The outcome depends on which team wins this individual map during the match.
Resolution is determined by the official result of map 2 as published by the VCT EMEA governing body. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours from the original July 18, 2026 start time, or if either is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play begins on that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins play and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real capital at stake. This market's odds represent consensus from participants betting directly on the outcome, which can sometimes offer sharper pricing than conventional betting venues. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception and market-derived probability differ most significantly.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and asks that determine the live odds. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the most recent trade and pending orders, updating in real time as new information surfaces or traders adjust their positions. Kalshi's transparent pricing model means you can see the full depth of interest at each price level, helping you understand how much conviction exists behind the current odds.
This market resolves around Jul 18, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which team wins Map 2 of the matchup. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell positions as new developments—such as team roster updates, recent performance, or live-match momentum—shift expectations. Resolution is final once the event is officially confirmed.
Several factors could shift odds significantly before resolution. Recent roster changes, player injuries, or lineup announcements for either team would likely trigger sharp price movement. Pre-match analysis, expert commentary, and betting patterns from other venues can also influence trader sentiment. During the actual match, live performance—early map control, economy management, and round wins—will drive rapid repricing. Historical head-to-head records and map-specific statistics may also prompt adjustments as traders refine their forecasts closer to game time.
