This market tracks the outcome of Map 2 in the South America League Stage 1 2026 Rainbow Six Siege match between Team Liquid and FaZe Clan scheduled for July 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT. The market resolves based on which team wins the individual map.
Resolution is determined by the official result of Map 2 as published by the governing body or tournament organizer. If the match or map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match or map is cancelled before play begins, or if a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets derive prices from continuous trader activity and collective forecasting. On Kalshi, odds are determined by supply and demand among participants rather than a centralized oddsmaker. This can result in sharper or more efficient pricing in prediction markets, especially when traders possess specialized knowledge. However, sportsbook odds may tighten closer to event time due to professional sharp action, while prediction market prices reflect real-time sentiment from a diverse participant base.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit buy and sell orders at their chosen price levels. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the last executed trade, and the spread between the best bid and ask represents the current market tightness. As new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, orders are matched and prices adjust dynamically. Kalshi's transparent order flow means you can observe depth and liquidity at each price level, allowing you to assess how much volume exists at different probability thresholds before placing your own trade.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the Map 2 result is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result reported by the esports league or tournament organizer. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell positions as new information and match developments unfold. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the map concludes, though exact timing may depend on broadcast schedules and official confirmation protocols. Your position will be settled according to the verified outcome once the event is complete.
Several factors could shift prices on this market before resolution. Recent team performance, win streaks, and head-to-head records often influence trader sentiment. Roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements can trigger sharp repricing. Pre-match analysis from professional commentators and community discussion may sway conviction. Map selection strategy and historical performance on specific maps also matter—if one team has a strong track record on the chosen map, that could drive prices. Real-time momentum during the match itself, such as early round wins or economic advantages, will likely cause rapid price movement as traders update their forecasts based on live action.
