This market tracks the outcome of Map 1 in the South America League Stage 1 2026 Rainbow Six Siege match between Team Liquid and FaZe Clan scheduled for July 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT. The market resolves based on which team wins the individual map.
Resolution is determined by the official result of Map 1 as published by the governing body or tournament organizer. If the match or map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match or map is cancelled before play begins, or if a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market aggregates trader conviction across the platform, which can reveal insights that differ from traditional sportsbook pricing. Comparing the two can highlight where the crowd on this venue sees value relative to conventional betting markets, though both should be evaluated independently for accuracy and edge.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. The current price reflects the most recent trades and pending orders, updating in real time as new information emerges or sentiment shifts. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the spread between buy and sell prices indicates how tight or loose liquidity is at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the final result of the match as documented by authoritative esports sources. Until that point, traders can adjust positions based on team news, roster changes, or other developments that might influence performance. Once the event concludes and the outcome is verified, the market settles and shares are redeemed according to the result.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before this market closes. Team roster changes, player injuries, or unexpected lineup announcements often trigger sharp moves as traders reassess competitive balance. Recent tournament results, scrim performances, or public statements from players and coaches can reshape expectations. Meta shifts in the game itself, patch updates, or map-specific strategy breakthroughs may also influence how traders price each outcome. Monitoring team social media, esports news outlets, and community discussion can help you anticipate market swings.
