Taylor Fritz and Jack Draper compete in the second set of their 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128 match on June 29. The winner of set 2 will be determined by standard tennis scoring rules.
This market resolves based on which player wins set 2 of the professional tennis match between Taylor Fritz and Jack Draper in the 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled will resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus to establish prices. This market aggregates real-money bets from many participants, which can reveal information gaps that traditional oddsmakers miss. Comparing the two can highlight value opportunities, though prediction market odds tend to be more efficient over time as traders continuously adjust based on new information and match developments.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective assessment of that outcome's probability, ranging from $0 to $1. As new information emerges—such as player form, court conditions, or injury updates—traders adjust their bids and offers, moving the market price. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the odds stay responsive to real-world developments throughout the match.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the second set of the Fritz vs Draper match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set according to official match records. Resolution occurs shortly after the event concludes, allowing traders to settle their positions. No ambiguity exists in set outcomes—the result is binary and confirmed through standard tennis reporting.
Several factors can shift odds before this market resolves. Player performance in the first set often influences second-set expectations, as momentum and fatigue play significant roles in tennis. Injury reports or visible physical strain during play can alter perceived winning chances. Court conditions, weather, and serve performance in early games of the second set all generate new information that traders incorporate into prices. Betting action itself—large trades or sustained directional flow—can also move the market as it signals informed positioning.
