This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs in the first inning of an upcoming baseball game. It captures the early momentum and offensive performance of the teams within the first inning only, providing insight into how the game might start before it progresses further.
The market resolves based on the number of runs each team scores specifically during the first inning of the designated game. If Tampa Bay scores more runs than Philadelphia in that inning, the 'Tampa Bay wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Philadelphia scores more runs than Tampa Bay, the 'Philadelphia wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Should both teams score the same number of runs, or if neither team scores any runs, the 'Tie 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. If the game is called or ends before the first inning is fully completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored within the first inning are considered for resolution, and Kalshi clarifies that it is not officially connected with the governing league.
