For both pitchers, the market resolves to Yes only if they are starting pitchers and record the required number of outs (16 for Peralta, 15 for Lopez). If either pitcher is scratched, not a starting pitcher, or only enters the game in relief, the market resolves to the fair market price regardless of any subsequent performance. The settlement hinges strictly on the starting pitcher status and the outs recorded while starting; relief appearances do not count toward the required totals. Kalshi clarifies it has no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
