This market tracks the winner of the second set in the professional tennis match between Talia Gibson and Marie Bouzkova at the 2026 Wimbledon Women's Singles Round of 128 on June 30. The outcome depends on which player wins the second set during regulation play.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 in the match. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader positioning rather than fixed bookmaker margins. On prediction markets, odds adjust instantly as new information emerges and traders adjust their positions. Sportsbooks, by contrast, manage risk through fixed spreads and may move lines more slowly. For this market, comparing the implied probability to major sportsbook odds on the Gibson–Bouzkova matchup can reveal whether traders are pricing in factors the books have not yet fully reflected, such as recent form or court conditions.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief in that outcome's probability, ranging from $0.00 to $1.00. As traders submit bids and asks, the mid-market price updates in real time. Kalshi's transparent pricing model means you can see the full depth of liquidity and execute trades at the best available price, with no hidden spreads or intermediary markups.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the Gibson vs Bouzkova match concludes and the second set result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the second set during their scheduled match. No partial or disputed results affect the resolution; only a clear, official set winner triggers settlement. Traders should monitor the match schedule and any official updates from the tournament organizer to anticipate resolution timing.
Several factors could shift odds before resolution. Recent performance data—such as head-to-head records, surface-specific statistics, or recent tournament results—often triggers repricing. Player injury reports or withdrawal announcements would immediately impact implied probabilities. Court conditions, weather delays, and official match scheduling changes can also influence trader sentiment. Additionally, live trading during the first set may reveal momentum or tactical patterns that traders incorporate into second-set expectations. Real-time commentary and early-set performance frequently drive intra-match volatility in this market.
