This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh scheduled for 2026-07-19 in T20I Series Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Zimbabwe will be considered correct if Zimbabwe is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Bangladesh will be considered correct if Bangladesh is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders themselves through supply and demand. Traders betting real money on this market tend to incorporate live information and sentiment faster than traditional oddsmakers update their lines. Over time, prediction market prices can serve as a useful benchmark for comparing against sportsbook offerings, though direct parity is rare due to different fee structures and market depths.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker model where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the cumulative bets placed on it; as more traders back one result, its price rises and the competing outcome's price falls. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader conviction. Fees are applied per trade, and the final odds visible on the dashboard represent the current equilibrium between all active positions.
This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the T20 International toss has occurred and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official toss result announced at the match venue. Traders holding positions on the correct outcome will receive their payout based on the final odds at which they entered. Until that point, prices will continue to fluctuate as new information and betting activity shape market sentiment.
Several factors could shift prices in this market before resolution. Changes to team lineups, injury announcements, or weather forecasts affecting match conditions may influence trader expectations about the toss outcome. Betting patterns and volume spikes can signal shifting confidence in one outcome over another. Media coverage and analyst commentary about team strategies may also sway sentiment. Additionally, any official updates from the cricket boards or match officials regarding scheduling or venue details could prompt repricing as traders reassess their positions.
