This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Bermuda and Brazil scheduled for 2026-06-27 in T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Bermuda will be considered correct if Bermuda is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Brazil will be considered correct if Brazil is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus and real-money positions. Sportsbooks may move lines faster in response to sharp action, whereas prediction markets can incorporate longer-term information and niche insights from specialized traders. For this match, comparing the implied probability here to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether the crowd is pricing the toss differently than professional oddsmakers, potentially signaling value or consensus shifts.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief of all participants; as more traders buy one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome's price falls. Liquidity pools determine how sharply prices move with each trade. You can enter or exit your position at any time before the market closes, and your profit or loss is determined by the difference between your entry and exit prices relative to the final resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the toss result from the Bermuda vs Brazil T20 match is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official toss call recorded by the match officials and reported by the tournament organizers or major cricket media. No further action is required from you; the platform will automatically settle all positions once the event concludes and the result is finalized. Early resolution is possible if the match is cancelled or abandoned before the toss occurs.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before resolution. Weather forecasts or pitch reports might influence perceived toss advantage, prompting position changes. Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—can alter how traders view each captain's toss strategy. Social media discussion, expert commentary, or historical toss data shared by analysts may sway the crowd. As the match start time approaches, late-arriving information or shifts in betting patterns on related markets could trigger repricing. Finally, any official updates from the tournament or broadcasters about match conditions or delays could impact trader confidence in the outcome.
