This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Bahamas and Brazil scheduled for 2026-06-25 in T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Bahamas will be considered correct if Bahamas is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Brazil will be considered correct if Brazil is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they operate under different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from actual trader positions and beliefs. This market may show different probabilities than conventional betting sites because traders here have direct financial exposure to accuracy. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value or where consensus differs from professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, where each outcome has a corresponding contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the aggregate belief of all participants—those buying signal higher confidence, while sellers indicate lower conviction. As the match date approaches and new information surfaces, traders adjust positions, causing prices to shift. The current market reflects the latest consensus on the toss outcome, with liquidity and volume indicating the strength of trader conviction.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the toss result from the Bahamas vs Brazil T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier match is confirmed. The outcome will be verified against credible public sources covering the event. Traders holding positions in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on when official match data becomes available and is processed by the platform.
Several factors may shift prices in this market before it resolves. Team news—such as injuries, roster changes, or lineup announcements—can alter trader expectations about match conditions. Weather forecasts for the match day may influence toss-related dynamics. Media coverage and expert analysis could sway sentiment. As the match date draws closer, increased trading activity often reflects heightened interest and conviction. Any official statements from cricket authorities or the teams themselves could also trigger repricing as new information becomes available.
