PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi match winner market contains a logical contradiction where both possible outcomes (Bahamas wins and Brazil wins) are stated to resolve to Yes, making the market unresolvable. This is a data integrity failure that prevents proper settlement.Hero tip: Do not trade the Kalshi match winner market in its current form. The Polymarket version is logically consistent and should be used as the authoritative reference. Request clarification from Kalshi on whether this is a template error or intentional market design before committing capital.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Match winner resolves according to finalized result on espncricinfo.com. Bahamas win = Bahamas resolution, Brazil win = Brazil resolution. Ties with Super Over use tiebreak result; ties without tiebreak resolve 50-50. Cancellations or no result resolve 50-50. Logically sound binary structure.
  • Kalshi: Market states: 'If Bahamas wins...then resolves to Yes' AND 'If Brazil wins...then resolves to Yes'. Both outcomes cannot occur simultaneously in a single match, creating a logical impossibility. No No resolution path is defined. This is a critical data integrity failure.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the cricket match between Bahamas and Brazil scheduled for June 25 2026 in T20 World Cup Sub Regional Americas Qualifier. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Kalshi

Resolution depends on the official result declared by the governing body. If either team wins, the market resolves to Yes for that team. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions occurring before the match begins result in $0.50 resolution; if they occur after play has begun and an official winner is declared, the market resolves based on that result. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like those tracked here differ from traditional sportsbooks in that traders directly set prices through supply and demand rather than oddsmakers posting fixed lines. Sportsbooks typically build in margins and adjust for liability, while prediction markets reflect aggregate trader conviction in real time. This market's odds may move more dynamically based on breaking news, team updates, or shifts in trader positioning. For comparison, check major sportsbooks alongside this dashboard to see how consensus differs and identify potential value.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates independently with its own liquidity pools, user base, and trading mechanics. Polymarket and Kalshi may attract different trader demographics and risk appetites, causing temporary price gaps. Differences in order flow, settlement rules, and fee structures can also drive divergence. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, but lags in execution or platform-specific constraints may allow gaps to persist briefly, creating opportunities for informed traders monitoring both venues.

Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star players, recent head-to-head form, and weather conditions on match day. Betting syndicates and sharp traders often react quickly to lineup changes or venue shifts. Public sentiment and media narratives can also shift odds, especially if one team is perceived as undervalued. Monitor official team social media, cricket news outlets, and qualifier updates for developments that could influence trader positioning before the match begins.
