This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Ireland and India scheduled for 2026-06-28 in T20 Series Ireland vs India. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Ireland will be considered correct if Ireland is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders themselves, creating a dynamic supply-and-demand environment. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders have direct financial incentive to correct mispricings. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate additional proprietary data or risk models. Comparing both can reveal valuable insights into how different groups assess the likelihood of outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) model where traders buy and sell shares of each outcome, and the price adjusts algorithmically based on the ratio of shares in the pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As traders place orders, the implied probability of each outcome shifts in real time, reflecting the collective confidence of the market. This mechanism ensures continuous liquidity and transparent price discovery, allowing you to enter or exit positions at any time before the market resolves.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the T20 toss outcome is verifiable from credible public sources. The result will be confirmed based on the official match records and broadcast confirmation of which team won the coin toss. Resolution happens automatically after the event concludes and the information is validated, ensuring all traders receive payouts based on the actual result.
Several factors can shift prices in this market before resolution. Team news—such as injury announcements, lineup changes, or weather updates—can alter trader expectations about match conditions and toss strategy. Betting patterns and sharp money flowing into one side may signal informed confidence. Social media sentiment and expert commentary can also influence perception. Additionally, any official announcements from the cricket board or broadcasters regarding venue conditions or match logistics could prompt repricing as traders adjust their forecasts.
