This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between England and India scheduled for 2026-07-11 in T20 Series England vs India. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to England will be considered correct if England is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to India will be considered correct if India is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into continuous probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, and the price of each share reflects the market's current belief about the likelihood of that result. As more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome's price falls, creating a self-balancing mechanism. This dynamic pricing ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader sentiment right up until resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 18, 2026, once the toss outcome is confirmed from credible public sources covering the match. The resolution hinges on the official result of the coin toss at the start of the England vs India T20 fixture. No further action is required from traders after the event concludes; the platform automatically settles all positions based on the verified outcome. Early resolution may occur if the match is officially cancelled or postponed beyond a specified cutoff date.
Several factors can shift trader sentiment and move this market before resolution. Weather forecasts, team news, and injury updates may influence how traders perceive each outcome's likelihood, even though the toss itself is random. Social media discussion, expert commentary, and betting patterns on related markets can also sway prices as new information spreads. Any official announcements regarding match timing, venue changes, or other logistical details could trigger repricing. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and final team confirmations typically drive higher trading volume and volatility.
