This event group covers three related prediction markets on the T20 Blast cricket match between Worcestershire and Kent scheduled for July 3, 2026: whether the match is completed, who wins the match, and who wins the pre-match coin toss. All markets resolve based on official match data from ESPNcricinfo.
This market refers to the cricket match between Worcestershire and Kent scheduled for July 3 2026 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Resolution depends on the official outcome declared by the governing body. If either team wins, that team's market resolves to Yes. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions occurring before play begins result in $0.50 resolution; if they occur after play has begun and an official winner is declared, resolution follows that result. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, all of which influence pricing. Polymarket may draw more casual traders, while Kalshi appeals to professionals with different risk models. Geographic and regulatory differences can also matter—traders in certain regions may have stronger conviction or access to different information sources. Volume disparities mean smaller markets can swing more sharply on single large trades. Additionally, platform-specific rules around market resolution timing or dispute handling create subtle incentives that shift odds. Monitoring both venues helps you identify temporary mispricings before they converge.
Key injury announcements or player availability updates can shift odds significantly, especially if star batsmen or bowlers are ruled out. Weather forecasts closer to match day often trigger repricing, since rain affects T20 strategy and completion probability. Team form and recent results in the competition will influence trader sentiment as the fixture approaches. Toss outcomes, once known, typically cause sharp moves because they determine pitch conditions and batting order strategy. Live match action—early wickets, aggressive batting, or bowling breakthroughs—will drive continuous repricing during play. Monitoring team social media, official league updates, and live commentary will help you anticipate and react to these catalysts.
