This market refers to the cricket match between Worcestershire and Gloucestershire scheduled for July 10 2026 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. This market aggregates the collective judgment of many independent traders, which can sometimes reveal insights that sportsbooks have not yet fully priced in, though both venues generally converge as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in a continuous order-book system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the cumulative bets placed by all participants, with higher prices indicating greater confidence in that result. As new information emerges or trader sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at the prevailing market rate.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result reported by the relevant cricket authorities and major sports news outlets. Until that point, prices may continue to fluctuate as traders update their expectations based on team news, weather, pitch conditions, and any other factors that could influence the final score.
Key catalysts include team announcements regarding player injuries, lineup changes, or tactical shifts that alter perceived strength. Weather forecasts closer to match day can significantly impact conditions and strategy. Recent form, head-to-head records, and any last-minute venue or scheduling updates may also shift trader positioning. Additionally, early match developments—such as a quick wicket or strong batting start—could trigger sharp repricing as traders react to unfolding events and adjust their probability estimates accordingly.
