This event group covers the women's T20 Blast cricket match between Yorkshire and The Blaze scheduled for July 12, 2026. Markets track the match winner, toss winner, and match completion status, with resolution based on official ESPN Cricinfo records.
This market refers to the cricket match between Yorkshire and The Blaze scheduled for July 12 2026 in T20 Blast, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Resolution depends on the match outcome as declared by the governing body. If either Yorkshire or The Blaze wins, that team's market resolves to Yes. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions occurring before the match begins result in $0.50 resolution; if they occur after play has begun and an official winner is declared, resolution follows that result. If play commences but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from continuous trader supply and demand. This market reflects what thousands of independent traders believe will happen, often incorporating real-time information faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Prediction market odds tend to be more efficient at pricing uncertainty over longer horizons, though sportsbook odds may tighten closer to match day as professional bettors sharpen their estimates. Comparing both sources can reveal where consensus diverges.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which naturally produces price variations. Polymarket and Kalshi may also enforce slightly different market mechanics—such as order-book depth, settlement windows, or promotional incentives—that influence how quickly prices converge. Additionally, traders on one venue may have access to different information sources or hold stronger convictions about the outcome, leading to temporary arbitrage opportunities. These gaps typically narrow as the event approaches and more capital flows to the most accurate pricing.
