This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Warwickshire and Surrey scheduled for 2026-06-26 in T20 Blast, Women. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Warwickshire will be considered correct if Warwickshire is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Surrey will be considered correct if Surrey is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, depending on whether informed traders have identified mispricings. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities for those monitoring both venues.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, with each outcome represented as a tradeable contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the collective assessment of all active traders, updating in real time as new trades execute. Higher prices indicate stronger conviction in that outcome, while lower prices suggest lower perceived probability. You can buy or sell contracts at any time before the market closes, with your position's value fluctuating based on how other traders reassess the toss result.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the toss outcome is confirmed and verifiable from credible public reporting of the match. The resolution hinges on the official toss result recorded at the start of play. Your position's final value depends entirely on whether the actual toss outcome matches the contract you held. All open positions settle automatically once the event concludes and the outcome is confirmed.
Several factors can shift odds before the match begins. Team news, injury announcements, or lineup changes may alter perceived advantage in the toss context. Weather forecasts and pitch reports released closer to match day often influence trader positioning, as conditions can affect team strategy and toss decisions. Social media sentiment, expert commentary, and historical head-to-head toss records may also prompt traders to adjust their positions. As Jul 3, 2026 approaches, late-breaking information typically drives the most volatile price movements in this market.
