This market refers to the cricket match between Surrey and Warwickshire scheduled for July 8 2026 in T20 Blast, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they operate under different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets let traders freely price outcomes based on their own research and beliefs. This market may show materially different implied probabilities than major sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges or as one venue attracts more informed traders than the other. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money is positioning itself and highlight potential value opportunities for informed bettors.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate of all active traders at any given moment. When new information surfaces—team news, weather updates, or injury reports—traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to catalysts, and wider bid-ask spreads may appear during low-activity periods.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, determining which team won the T20 Blast encounter. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, allowing traders to settle their positions promptly. Any delays in official confirmation may extend the resolution window slightly, but the market will close once the winner is definitively established.
Team news—including player injuries, unavailability, or last-minute roster changes—can trigger sharp price swings in this market. Weather forecasts and pitch conditions closer to match day often influence trader positioning, particularly if rain or extreme heat is expected. Recent form, head-to-head records, and any public statements from team management may also shift sentiment. As the match date approaches, increased trading activity and media coverage typically amplify volatility, while late-breaking developments in the hours before play begins can cause rapid repricing.
