Polymarket and Kalshi operate under different regulatory frameworks and user bases, which can create pricing gaps on the same outcome. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Kalshi's U.S.-focused audience and Polymarket's global trader pool may weight team form, injury reports, or pitch conditions differently. Settlement rules, fee structures, and liquidity depth also vary between platforms—a larger order on one exchange can move the price faster than on the other. These differences typically narrow as the match approaches and new information becomes public, but arbitrage opportunities can persist for traders monitoring both venues.
