This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Warwickshire and Worcestershire scheduled for 2026-06-26 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Warwickshire will be considered correct if Warwickshire is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Worcestershire will be considered correct if Worcestershire is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader belief and capital allocation. In this market, the odds you see represent what informed traders are willing to stake, not a bookmaker's margin-adjusted line. Prediction markets typically reward accuracy over time, which can make them more responsive to new information than traditional sportsbooks. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and expert traders disagree on the toss outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker and order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the probability traders assign to that result, with the total of all outcome prices equaling one dollar. As traders place bets, the price adjusts in real time based on supply and demand. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price efficiency, making the odds more reliable as a consensus forecast of the toss result.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the T20 Blast toss between Warwickshire and Worcestershire has taken place and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the coin toss, as officially recorded by the match officials and confirmed through standard sports reporting. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically swift after the toss is called and announced at the ground.
Several factors can shift odds before the toss occurs. Team news—such as injury announcements, lineup changes, or weather updates—may influence trader expectations about which captain will be more aggressive in calling the toss. Historical head-to-head toss records and venue-specific patterns can also drive repositioning. Late betting activity and sharp money flowing into one side often signals informed opinion and can move prices sharply. Media commentary, expert predictions, and social sentiment may sway casual traders. As match day approaches and conditions become clearer, expect increased volatility and volume in this market.
