This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Sussex and Surrey scheduled for 2026-06-26 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Sussex will be considered correct if Sussex is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Surrey will be considered correct if Surrey is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from continuous trader activity and collective belief. This market aggregates real-money bets from many participants, which can reveal information that traditional oddsmakers haven't fully priced in. Comparing the two can highlight where public sentiment differs from professional sportsbook positioning.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares tied to each outcome, with the current market price reflecting the aggregate belief of all participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong trader conviction, though prices remain fluid as new information emerges and positions shift. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence how quickly prices adjust to breaking news or changing circumstances surrounding the match.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the T20 Blast match between Sussex and Surrey concludes and the toss result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on official match records and broadcast reporting. Until that point, traders can continue to adjust positions as new developments emerge.
Several factors could shift prices before resolution. Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or roster announcements—often influences toss-related sentiment. Weather forecasts and pitch reports released closer to match day can alter trader expectations about conditions and strategy. Official confirmation of venue, match timing, or any last-minute scheduling changes would also trigger repricing. Social media buzz, expert commentary, and historical head-to-head toss data may sway individual traders' conviction as the event draws near.
