This market tracks whether Nottinghamshire will defeat Lancashire in their T20 Blast cricket match. Aggregated data from Kalshi and Polymarket shows a consensus probability of 99.9% for match completion. Resolution will be determined by ESPNcricinfo, the authoritative source for cricket statistics. Watch for the scheduled match on July 3, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT to see if the contest concludes as expected.
This market refers to the cricket match between Nottinghamshire and Lancashire scheduled for July 3 2026 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Resolution depends on an official winner being declared by the governing body. If the match concludes with a decisive result, the winning team resolves to Yes. Ties, draws, no results, abandonments, or cancellations without an official winner all resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions occurring before play begins also resolve to $0.50; if they occur after play has begun and an official winner is declared, that result determines resolution. If play commences but insufficient play occurs to establish an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader bases, regulatory frameworks, and liquidity pools. Kalshi operates under CFTC oversight with distinct user demographics, while Polymarket draws global crypto-native traders. Differences in trading fees, interface design, and settlement speed can create temporary price gaps. If one platform receives a large order or experiences lower volume, its odds may lag the other. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, but during low-liquidity periods, meaningful divergence can persist. Monitoring both venues helps identify which platform is pricing this market more efficiently.
Key catalysts include team news—injuries to star players, lineup changes, or surprise inclusions—which can shift win probability significantly. Weather forecasts for the match day may favor one team's playing style or bowling attack. Recent form and head-to-head records often trigger repricing as traders reassess historical patterns. Venue conditions, pitch reports, and toss outcomes are powerful real-time signals. Social media sentiment and expert commentary can also influence trader positioning. Large bets from recognized sharp accounts often move odds sharply, signaling informed conviction about team performance or specific match factors.
