This market refers to the cricket match between Worcestershire Rapids and Sussex Sharks scheduled for June 28 2026 in T20 Blast, League 2, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader belief and capital allocation. This market may show a different probability than major sportsbooks quote, especially if one venue has attracted more informed or contrarian positioning. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree, though neither is inherently more accurate.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker or order-book system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the outcome, and the price reflects the ratio of capital allocated to each side. As more traders bet on one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome's price falls. The current odds you see represent the marginal price of the last trade, not a fixed line, so they shift dynamically with every transaction.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result of the T20 Blast fixture between the two teams. Until that point, prices may fluctuate as new information emerges, team news breaks, or betting patterns shift. Resolution is automatic once the event is finalized and the platform's verification process is complete.
Key catalysts include team roster changes, injury announcements, recent form and head-to-head records, and weather conditions on match day. Betting syndicate activity or sharp money flowing into one side can also shift prices significantly. Media coverage highlighting a player's hot streak or a team's momentum may influence trader positioning. As the match date approaches, live updates during the game itself—such as early wickets or batting partnerships—will drive rapid repricing if this market remains open during play.
