This market refers to the cricket match between Glamorgan and Worcestershire Rapids scheduled for July 5 2026 in T20 Blast, League 2, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets are driven by traders seeking to profit on accurate forecasts. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional bookmakers, depending on whether the crowd believes the sportsbook has mispriced the matchup. Comparing the two can reveal value opportunities, though prediction market odds tend to converge toward consensus as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the outcome, and the price reflects the collective confidence of all participants. As more traders bet on one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome falls, creating a dynamic equilibrium. This mechanism ensures continuous liquidity and allows you to enter or exit positions at any time before resolution, with prices updating in real time based on order flow and market sentiment.
This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result reported by the relevant cricket authority or trusted sports data provider. Until that point, traders can continue to adjust positions as new information emerges. Resolution is automatic once the event is finalized, and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome share.
Team news—including injury announcements, roster changes, or player availability updates—can significantly shift odds in this market. Weather conditions at the venue, recent form trends, and head-to-head records may also influence trader sentiment. Major developments such as a key player being ruled out or a surprise team selection could trigger sharp price moves. Additionally, early match momentum, if any live betting or commentary emerges before the official start, might prompt traders to reassess their positions and adjust their bets accordingly.
