This event group covers a women's T20 Blast League 2 cricket match between Derbyshire Falcons and Kent scheduled for July 3, 2026. Markets track the toss winner, match completion status, and overall match winner across Polymarket and Kalshi platforms.
This market refers to the cricket match between Derbyshire Falcons and Kent scheduled for July 3 2026 in T20 Blast, League 2, Women. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Resolution depends on an official winner being declared by the governing body. If the match concludes with a decisive result, the winning team resolves to Yes. Ties, draws, no results, abandonments, or cancellations without an official winner all resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions occurring before play begins also resolve to $0.50; if they occur after play has begun and an official winner is declared, that result determines resolution. If play commences but insufficient play occurs to establish an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures. Polymarket may draw more international crypto-native traders, while Kalshi appeals to US-based retail and institutional participants. Order flow timing, market depth, and how each platform's matching engine executes large trades can create temporary price gaps. Additionally, subtle differences in how each platform phrases the outcome (match completion vs. winner determination) may lead traders to interpret risk slightly differently. These gaps typically narrow as arbitrageurs exploit them, but they can persist if liquidity is thin.
