On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the probability implied by the order flow; as more traders back one team to hit more sixes, that outcome's price rises and its implied probability increases. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence how quickly prices respond to new developments, with deeper order books enabling tighter spreads and faster execution.
This market resolves around Jul 19, 2026, once the Lancashire versus Durham T20 Blast match concludes. The outcome is determined by comparing the total number of sixes hit by each team during the match and verified against credible public sources. The team that hits the most sixes wins the market; in the event of a tie, resolution rules specific to the platform apply. Traders should monitor match updates and official scorecards as the event unfolds.
Several factors can shift odds before the match begins: team announcements regarding player availability or injuries, recent batting form and six-hitting records, pitch and weather conditions at the venue, and head-to-head historical trends. Closer to game time, team lineups and toss results often trigger sharp repricing. During the match itself, early batting aggression, bowler changes, and momentum swings can cause rapid price movements as traders update their expectations in real time based on live action.
