This event group covers the T20 Blast cricket match between Kent and Hampshire scheduled for June 28, 2026. Markets track whether the match is completed, who wins the toss, and the final match winner across Kalshi and Polymarket platforms.
This market refers to the cricket match between Kent and Hampshire scheduled for June 28 2026 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Markets resolve based on the official winner declared by the governing body. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50. If such an event occurs after play has begun and the governing body declares an official winner, markets resolve accordingly. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates under distinct rule sets, fee structures, and trader demographics. Kalshi and Polymarket may have different liquidity pools, settlement timelines, or risk tolerances among their users, causing temporary price gaps. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, but differences in how each platform verifies the match outcome or handles edge cases can sustain divergence. Monitoring both helps you identify mispricings and understand where market confidence is truly concentrated.
Key catalysts include team news such as player injuries, lineup changes, or roster updates announced before the match. Weather conditions at the venue, pitch reports, and recent form streaks for either side can shift trader sentiment significantly. Live match developments—early wickets, batting momentum, or tactical decisions—will drive real-time price swings as the game unfolds. Public betting patterns and sharp money flows on competing platforms may also signal where informed traders are positioning, influencing this market's trajectory.
