Several catalysts can shift odds before the match begins. Team lineup announcements, especially confirmation of key batsmen known for aggressive six-hitting, will move prices significantly. Injury news to star players can reduce a team's six-hitting potential. Recent form and head-to-head records showing which team has historically hit more sixes in T20 Blast clashes will influence trader positioning. Weather forecasts matter too; overcast conditions or strong winds can suppress six-hitting, while clear, warm days encourage aggressive batting. Pitch reports indicating a flat, short-boundary wicket will increase six expectations. As match day approaches, final team sheets and toss outcomes become crucial, with the winning captain's decision to bat first or field affecting six-hitting strategy and probability.
