This event group covers three related prediction markets on the T20 Blast cricket match between Derbyshire and Yorkshire scheduled for June 28, 2026. Markets include: (1) match winner (Derbyshire or Yorkshire), (2) whether the match is completed with an official result, and (3) the coin toss winner. All markets reference ESPNcricinfo as the authoritative resolution source.
This market refers to the cricket match between Derbyshire and Yorkshire scheduled for June 28 2026 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Markets resolve based on the official winner declared by the governing body. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50. If such an event occurs after play has begun and the governing body declares an official winner, markets resolve accordingly. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price gaps. Polymarket may see heavier action from certain regional traders or betting syndicates, while Kalshi draws a different user base. Order-book depth, platform UI, and settlement rule clarity also influence how quickly each market reprices in response to breaking news. These differences typically narrow as arbitrageurs exploit gaps, but during low-liquidity windows or fast-moving events, meaningful spreads can persist between the two venues.
Key injury announcements, team lineup changes, and recent form shifts will likely drive price movement in this market. Weather forecasts closer to match day—particularly wind and rain conditions affecting T20 play—often trigger repricing. Betting syndicates and professional traders monitoring county cricket news will react quickly to captain decisions, player availability, and head-to-head records. Late-breaking team news released hours before the match typically produces the sharpest moves. Monitoring cricket news outlets and official county social channels will help you anticipate how this market may shift before the opening ball.
