Description

This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Oman and Singapore scheduled for 2026-05-31 in T20 Asian Games, Qualifier. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if Oman is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Singapore will be considered correct if Singapore is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker lines. Sportsbooks typically set odds to balance liability and profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized opinions from thousands of participants. For the Oman vs Singapore toss double, comparing Polymarket probabilities to major sportsbooks can reveal arbitrage opportunities or signal where informed traders believe value lies. Prediction markets tend to adjust faster to new information than traditional books.

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the toss match double outcome is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. Each outcome (heads or tails) has a share price between 0 and 1 cent, with the sum of all outcome prices equaling 1 cent. As traders buy or sell shares, the price adjusts automatically. The current market price reflects the collective belief of all Polymarket participants about the toss result, updated continuously until resolution at Jun 7, 2026.

The market resolves at Jun 7, 2026, immediately after the official toss result is confirmed during the T20 Asian Games Qualifier match between Oman and Singapore. The outcome is determined by the actual coin toss called by the match officials at the ground. Once the toss result is announced and verified, Polymarket will settle all positions based on the correct outcome, crediting winning traders and closing the market.

Key catalysts include team news, weather conditions, and pitch reports released closer to match day, which may influence trader sentiment about toss strategy. Any official updates on venue, match timing, or coin specifications could trigger repricing. Social media activity, expert commentary, and historical toss data for these teams may also drive trading volume and price shifts. As Jun 7, 2026 approaches, final team lineups and on-ground conditions will likely prompt last-minute position adjustments. Breaking news about player injuries or tactical changes could indirectly influence market activity.
