This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan scheduled for September 11 2026 at 10:30 AM ET in T20 Asia Cup, Women. The outcome corresponding to Sri Lanka will be considered correct if Sri Lanka is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Pakistan will be considered correct if Pakistan is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may set initial lines based on expert analysis and team statistics, but this market incorporates the collective insights of many traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will adjust accordingly, potentially offering value to informed bettors. It's important to compare both to identify potential discrepancies and make well-rounded predictions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their beliefs about the outcome of the toss. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will climb, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins the toss – will be used to determine the winning shares. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding team form, player injuries, or pitch conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts for the match location might also play a role, as toss outcomes can be affected by conditions. Public opinion and analysis from cricket experts, while not directly factored into the market, could also indirectly influence trading activity. Monitoring these signals can help traders anticipate potential price movements and adjust their positions accordingly.
