Description

This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Mongolia and Thailand scheduled for 2026-06-02 in T20 ACC Premier Cup, Women. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Mongolia will be considered correct if Mongolia is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Thailand will be considered correct if Thailand is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically embed a vigorish and adjust lines to balance liability, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs continuously. For the Mongolia vs Thailand toss, the Polymarket odds may move faster in response to team news, weather updates, or late-breaking information. Comparing Polymarket probabilities to major sportsbooks can reveal whether the crowd is pricing the toss outcome more bullishly or bearishly than professional oddsmakers.

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the toss outcome is priced through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible result. The current implied probability reflects the ratio of capital allocated to each side. As traders place orders ahead of the match, the price adjusts to equilibrate supply and demand. Liquidity depth on Polymarket determines how large a trade you can execute without significant slippage, and the spread between bid and ask prices indicates market tightness for this specific women's T20 event.

The market resolves on Jun 9, 2026 following the conclusion of the toss in the Mongolia vs Thailand match. Resolution is determined by the official result of the coin toss or equivalent randomization method used by the match officials at the start of play. Once the toss outcome is confirmed and broadcast, the prediction market settles based on which outcome occurred. Traders holding the correct side receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution is typically finalized within hours of the toss being called.

Several factors can shift odds before the toss occurs. Late team announcements, injury updates, or roster changes affecting either Mongolia or Thailand may alter trader expectations about match dynamics and toss strategy. Weather forecasts closer to match day can influence perceived advantage, since conditions may favor certain playing styles. Betting patterns and large trades on Polymarket can also trigger momentum moves as other traders react to visible order flow. News coverage, expert commentary, or social media sentiment surrounding the teams can sway crowd perception and drive price movement up until the toss is officially called.
