Often, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring, as determined by traders. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially early in the market's life cycle. Analyzing these differences can reveal insights into public perception versus informed speculation regarding the Cecchinato vs Squire match.

The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will rise, and vice versa.
