In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Switzerland and Colombia, scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Switzerland vs. Colombia match originally scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show materially different probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, especially for less-liquid exact score outcomes. Comparing the two can reveal where one venue undervalues or overvalues a particular scoreline, though prediction market odds tend to sharpen as the event date approaches and more information becomes available.
On Predict, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders submit bids and asks for each exact score outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform aggregates these orders to derive a real-time midpoint price for every possible final result. Prices adjust dynamically as new trades execute and market sentiment evolves. Liquidity and spreads vary by outcome; more popular scorelines typically tighten, while niche results may carry wider bid-ask gaps. This mechanism ensures that prices reflect genuine trader conviction rather than algorithmic or house-set lines.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the Switzerland vs. Colombia match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular time; the winning contract corresponds to whichever score option matches the official result. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, after major sports news outlets and official match records confirm the score. Traders should monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches to ensure they understand any platform-specific timing or edge-case rules.
Key catalysts include team news—injuries to star players, lineup changes, or tactical shifts announced before kickoff—which can significantly alter scoring expectations. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions at the venue also influence how traders price different scorelines. Major betting syndicates or sharp money flowing into specific outcomes can trigger rapid repricing. As match day nears, late-breaking injury reports or lineup confirmations often trigger volatility. Live trading during the match itself will also shift odds dramatically; early goals, red cards, or momentum swings typically cause sharp moves in the probability of certain exact scores.
