This market determines whether Switzerland or Canada wins the second half of their FIFA World Cup match on June 24, 2026 by a margin exceeding 1.5 goals, based on the goal differential during that half only.
The second half spread is determined by the goal differential between Switzerland and Canada during the second half only. Switzerland's outcome resolves to Yes if Switzerland scores more than 1.5 goals ahead of Canada during the second half. Canada's outcome resolves to Yes if Canada scores more than 1.5 goals ahead of Switzerland during the second half. Goals scored during the first half do not count toward this market. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two weeks away, the market will resolve to a fair price in accordance with the rules.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real money at stake rather than opinion alone. Analysts may rely on historical statistics and team strength ratings, while traders in this market incorporate live information, injury updates, and shifting public sentiment. When this market's odds move sharply, it can signal that traders have spotted something analysts missed or that consensus has shifted. Comparing the two approaches helps you identify where expert opinion and market pricing align or conflict.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and asks for contracts tied to the second-half spread outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the equilibrium between traders bullish on Switzerland covering the spread and those favoring Canada. As new information emerges—team news, weather, or momentum shifts—traders adjust their positions, moving the odds up or down. Your entry price depends on the exact moment you trade and the depth of liquidity available at that level.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the second half of the Switzerland vs Canada match concludes and the final spread is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing the actual point differential scored in the second half to the spread offered in the market. Whichever side of the spread is correct at final whistle determines the winner. Resolution is automatic once the official result is confirmed and published.
Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or roster updates—can shift odds significantly before kickoff. Betting patterns and sharp money flowing into one side may signal informed traders taking a strong position. Weather conditions, venue factors, and recent form can all influence how traders reassess the second-half spread. Once the match begins, first-half performance becomes the dominant catalyst; a team dominating early may see their second-half spread odds tighten or widen depending on fatigue and momentum. Live score updates and momentum swings during the game will drive the most dramatic price moves.
