Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the Switzerland-Algeria cards market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trader positions on whether both teams will accumulate four or more total yellow and red cards combined during their match. The interface displays the current probability estimate alongside historical price movements, allowing traders to monitor how sentiment shifts as match details emerge. This market reflects the collective forecast of active traders on the platform, updated continuously as new information influences expectations around disciplinary outcomes.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders seeking accurate forecasts. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks' card totals can reveal where the crowd's expectation differs from professional oddsmakers, though both sources update dynamically as match conditions change and new information surfaces.

On Limitless, traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes, with the current price reflecting the probability traders assign to four or more combined cards. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price adjusts in real time as traders adjust positions based on team news, historical card patterns, referee assignments, and other relevant factors. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new information.

This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the Switzerland-Algeria match concludes and the final card count is verified against credible public sources. The outcome hinges on whether the combined total of yellow and red cards issued to both teams reaches four or higher. Official match records and sports data providers confirm the final disciplinary tally, determining whether traders holding "yes" or "no" positions are correct.

Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Referee assignment announcements often influence card expectations, since different officials have distinct disciplinary tendencies. Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can alter playing style and aggression levels. Historical head-to-head records and recent disciplinary trends for both squads also matter. As match day approaches, weather conditions, stadium atmosphere, and pre-match commentary may prompt traders to adjust their positions on the likelihood of reaching four total cards.
