Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they aggregate real-time trader conviction rather than being set by oddsmakers managing liability. Sportsbooks adjust lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while this market reflects the collective assessment of participants willing to stake capital on their view. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion on the match outcome differs from professional bookmaking estimates, though both sources inform serious bettors and analysts.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the ratio of shares held in each outcome pool; as traders buy or sell, the price adjusts continuously. This mechanism ensures liquidity and transparency, allowing you to enter or exit positions without waiting for a counterparty, though larger trades may move the price more significantly than smaller ones.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the Swiss Open match between the two players concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official tournament record and confirmed through established sports reporting channels.
