On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can diverge because of differences in user base, trading volume, and market design. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more European football fans, skewing its probabilities, while the other could see heavier participation from global traders.
