Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the market resolves based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 17, 2026, with no extra time or penalties considered.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the governing body (Bundesliga/DFB) or credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Polymarket Draw market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw, NO otherwise.
Polymarket Elversberg Win market resolves YES if Elversberg wins, NO otherwise.
Polymarket Karlsruher SC Win market resolves YES if Karlsruher SC wins, NO otherwise.
Kalshi markets resolve YES for whichever outcome occurs: Elversberg win, Karlsruhe win, or Tie.
Exactly one outcome will occur and exactly one market per platform will resolve YES.
Resolution scope is strictly the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until the match is completed and then resolve based on the final result.
Match Cancellation Without Rescheduling: Polymarket Draw market resolves YES if canceled with no make-up game; Polymarket Win markets resolve NO. Kalshi resolution rules do not explicitly address this scenario.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 17, 2026, or within 2 hours thereafter if official statistics are delayed.
