On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as traders adjust their positions, leading to dynamic price fluctuations. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome drives up its price, indicating increased confidence, while selling pressure lowers the price. This creates a real-time assessment of probabilities based on collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on the official result of the Stukalov vs. Kovalenko match as determined by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available and reliable sources to ensure accuracy. Traders who correctly predicted the result will be paid out according to their share holdings at the time of resolution, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their shares. The process aims to be transparent and based on objective evidence.
Several factors could influence this market leading up to Oct 4, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategy, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could significantly shift trader sentiment.
