On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous, decentralized exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the price of other outcomes decreases. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment. The market’s efficiency relies on active trading and informed participants.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Storozhenko vs. Maltsev match, as reported by the governing sports organization. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who hold shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout equivalent to the final market price of their shares, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategy, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift the odds. Public sentiment, reflected in social media discussions and expert analysis, can also influence trading activity. Major upsets in related matches or broader sporting events might also affect the perceived probabilities. Furthermore, any official announcements from the governing body regarding the match schedule or rules could introduce volatility. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential shifts in the market.
