On Polymarket and Kalshi, this market can diverge because each venue has its own user base, liquidity profile, and trading dynamics. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, differing levels of participation or regional biases may push probabilities in opposite directions. Additionally, each platform updates its prices based on its own trading volume and order flow, which can amplify small shifts into larger percentage gaps between the two sites.
