Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced sentiment rather than professional bookmaker adjustments. In this market, traders directly price the chances of each outcome based on their own research and gut feelings. Sportsbook odds may include a built-in house edge and different liability models, which can make them appear more conservative or aggressive than the crowd-driven prices you see here.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling shares for each possible outcome. The current odds reflect the ratio of shares sold for each team, with the market self-correcting based on trading volume and participant activity. As the match date nears, any new information — like lineup changes or weather updates — can shift these prices rapidly.
This market resolves around Aug 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The first team to score a goal during the match will determine the winner, and the platform will finalize the market based on official match records and widely accepted sports news sources.
