This market refers to the StarCraft II match between Shameless and Cure in the WardiTV Championship Group Stage 2 - Group A, initially scheduled for June 2 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Shameless" if Shameless win the match against Cure. This market will resolve to "Cure" if Cure win the match against Shameless. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically apply vig and adjust lines based on liability management, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized participant beliefs. For this StarCraft II matchup, comparing Polymarket prices to major esports sportsbooks reveals how much the crowd's assessment differs from professional oddsmakers. Prediction markets may react faster to roster news or recent tournament results, while sportsbooks prioritize balanced action.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026 following the completion of the best-of-three match between Shameless and Cure at WardiTV Championship Group Stage 2 - Group A. Resolution is determined by the official match result as broadcast and confirmed by WardiTV and the tournament organizers. Outcomes include individual map winners and the overall series winner, depending on which specific contracts are active. Once the final game concludes and results are officially published, the market settles accordingly.
Key catalysts include recent tournament performance by both players, map pool announcements, and any roster or coaching changes leading up to the match. Shameless and Cure's head-to-head history and recent form against similar opponents heavily influence trader positioning. Patch updates to StarCraft II or balance changes affecting unit viability can shift map-specific probabilities. Community commentary, analyst predictions, and betting volume spikes on particular outcomes also drive price movement. Any injury, technical issues, or schedule delays announced before Jun 2, 2026 may trigger repricing across all contracts.
