This market refers to the StarCraft II match between Reynor and Jumy in the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group A, initially scheduled for July 3 at 10:15AM ET. This market will resolve to "Reynor" if Reynor win the match against Jumy. This market will resolve to "Jumy" if Jumy win the match against Reynor. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds reflect real-time consensus from thousands of traders betting their own capital, whereas traditional sportsbooks set fixed lines designed to balance their book and lock in profit margins. This market aggregates dispersed information from the esports community, often surfacing edge cases or undervalued outcomes that sportsbooks may miss. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception diverges from bookmaker pricing, though prediction markets tend to be more reactive to breaking news and player form shifts.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group A match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official tournament bracket and broadcast records, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Until that point, traders can continue to adjust positions as new information emerges about player performance, team dynamics, or any other factors that might influence the series outcome.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the match begins. Recent tournament performances by either player, roster changes, or injury announcements would likely trigger repricing. Map pool reveals, pre-tournament interviews, or betting patterns from professional analysts could also influence trader sentiment. In-game developments during earlier HomeStory Cup matches may provide clues about current form and strategy, while community discussion and expert commentary often accelerate price adjustments as the event date approaches.
