If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who profit from accuracy. This market aggregates decentralized participant views rather than a bookmaker's calculated spread. Comparing the two reveals whether professional oddsmakers or crowd-sourced traders are more bullish on a given outcome, offering insight into where informed money may be flowing.

On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract represents a potential result, and the price of a share reflects the collective probability assigned by all active traders. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, participants adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. The top outcome currently reflects strong market conviction, though prices remain dynamic until the event concludes and the market resolves.

This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the actual performance of both players during the best-of-three series, with each contract settling based on which player wins the specified map or overall competition. Resolution occurs after the event is officially confirmed, ensuring all trades are final and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning contract.

Several factors may shift prices before the match begins. Recent tournament results, player form, and head-to-head records can influence trader confidence. Roster changes, patch updates to the game, or public statements from either competitor may also trigger repricing. Closer to the event, real-time match commentary and early map outcomes will drive sharp adjustments as new information becomes available. Unexpected technical issues or scheduling delays could also impact sentiment and liquidity in this market.
