This market refers to the StarCraft II match between Mixu and LetaleX in the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group D, initially scheduled for July 4 at 3:45PM ET. This market will resolve to "Mixu" if Mixu win the match against LetaleX. This market will resolve to "LetaleX" if LetaleX win the match against Mixu. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker pricing. Sportsbooks typically adjust odds to balance liability, while prediction markets price outcomes through continuous supply and demand. For esports matchups like this one, prediction markets may react faster to roster changes, recent form, or community analysis. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbook spreads can reveal where informed traders see value or where public perception differs from professional oddsmakers.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the HomeStory Cup Group D match between Mixu and LetaleX concludes and the final game count is verified. The outcome is confirmed against credible public reporting of the official broadcast and tournament records. Resolution hinges on whether the best-of-three series ends in exactly two games or extends to three, with no ambiguity in the official result. Early resolution may occur if the match is postponed or cancelled under tournament rules.
Key catalysts include recent head-to-head records, map pool updates, and player form leading into the tournament. Roster announcements or last-minute substitutions could shift expectations about series length. Community analysis, coaching changes, or notable practice results often trigger repricing on prediction markets. Broadcast commentary and expert predictions may influence trader positioning. Additionally, early game results from other HomeStory Cup Group D matches could provide context about overall competition level, indirectly affecting how traders assess the likelihood of a quick 2-0 sweep versus a closer three-game battle.
