This market refers to the StarCraft II match between Maru and NightMare in the RSL Revival Group B, initially scheduled for July 12 at 5:45AM ET. This market will resolve to "Maru" if Maru win the match against NightMare. This market will resolve to "NightMare" if NightMare win the match against Maru. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets price outcomes based on trader consensus and real-money conviction. This market aggregates beliefs from a global pool of participants who profit or lose based on accuracy, which can produce sharper or more contrarian odds than conventional betting venues. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to traditional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome contract reflects the current consensus on the match result, with prices updating continuously as new trades execute. Traders can view the implied probability of each outcome and execute limit or market orders to enter or exit positions. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity depth and the cost of immediate execution.
This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the StarCraft II match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final score of the Best-of-Three series, with the winner confirmed through official tournament reporting or broadcast records. Traders holding positions on the correct outcome receive their payout once resolution is finalized. Early resolution is possible if one player withdraws or the match is officially cancelled before completion.
Market prices may shift based on recent player performance, map pool announcements, or head-to-head history between the competitors. Injury reports, roster changes, or public statements from either player can influence trader expectations and trigger repricing. Upstream tournament results or bracket developments may also affect perceived stakes or momentum. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and expert analysis often drive trading volume and volatility, particularly if new strategic information surfaces or odds appear misaligned with consensus.
