This market refers to the StarCraft II match between Jumy and HolyHit in the HomeStory Cup XXIX Group A, initially scheduled for July 3 at 11:15AM ET. This market will resolve to "Jumy" if Jumy win the match against HolyHit. This market will resolve to "HolyHit" if HolyHit win the match against Jumy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and risk management, while prediction markets derive prices from continuous trader participation and real-time supply and demand. This market reflects aggregated trader conviction rather than a bookmaker's margin-adjusted line. Comparing this market's odds to sportsbook offerings can reveal where professional and retail sentiment diverge, though prediction markets often incorporate broader information flows and may move faster as new developments occur.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, with the share price reflecting the implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects Map Handicap pricing, where Jumy is quoted at a negative spread and HolyHit at a positive one. Prices adjust continuously as traders execute orders, and the order book shows the depth of support at each price level. This mechanism ensures that the market price always represents the marginal trader's assessment of the match outcome.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the HomeStory Cup Group A match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official tournament results and broadcast records. Until that time, traders can adjust positions as the event approaches and new information becomes available. Resolution timing depends on the actual match schedule and any potential delays or rescheduling by the tournament organizers.
Several factors could shift this market significantly. Recent tournament performance, player form, map pool announcements, and head-to-head records are key catalysts. Roster changes, player health or availability issues, and pre-match commentary from analysts or the players themselves often trigger repricing. Practice results or leaked scrim outcomes can also influence trader positioning. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and betting activity typically amplify volatility, while last-minute schedule changes or technical issues could create sudden swings in implied probability.
